Working Platform - AK2
The Hauer safety cage provides a safe workplace in compliance with safety regulations governing communal and similar applications.
further information ...The safety cage with roof frame is TÜV-approved but users must have the complete combination of vehicle and safety cage retested by an accredited test institute for final approval as required by local regulations. A safety package is available for Hauer front loaders.
The Hauer AK2 safety cage is manufactured to a modular design. The base unit consists of a cage complete with handrail and mesh back. This level of specification can be extended by the following options.
Underframe
The underframe increases the work height by 1200 mm.
Protecting roof
The roof frame with gri backwards is for use with the fork lift. The working platform itself is TÜV certified in the version with roof frame. (TÜV is a global organisation in independent testing and assessment services)
The protecting roof is only available in combination with the roof frame. It it mainly used for protection from falling objects.
Toolbox
The toolbox is a very practical feature of the safety cage to store your tools in a professional way.
Handrail lining
The hadrail lining is made from wood and is fixed on the upper frame of the safety cage. Its main application is for operations with motorsaws.
The mounted stacker from Hauer increases the lift height of your front loader by up to 1.7 m for operating a pallet fork or an aerial work platform.

The mounted stacker is made up of an external and an internal mast and offers infinitely variable height control from a double-acting lift cylinder. With a payload as high as 1000 kg, the stacker lifts even very heavy loads to its maximum height. The stacker is supplied with a tipping damper that is installed in the loader’s crowding line for controlled unloading. The 1300 m wide pallet frame allows operators to extend the fork width in 100 mm increments from 300 mm to 1100 mm.
Options include an adapter for mounting a safety cage to the stacker for municipal applications, for example. The adapter provides the required precision-fit connection between the cage and the stacker. Another option is a tap in the lifting line to control the lift and lowering rates.
The extremely resistant 2K two-stage paint coat offers superb protection from corrosion and can be refinished in the course of a long service life.
Use with wheel and telescopic loaders
Because of higher system hydraulic pressure, a pressure relief valve for the cylinders has to be mounted. Fiiting coupling plates are available on request.

The universal implement is particularly suitable for:

- Metered emptying of the bucket by the folding function
- Larger dumping height when emptying by opening the bucket
Professional Equipment
The movable part of the bucket is made in robust box construction. The right-angled rear edge of the bucket is perfect for leveling backwards. To plan forward with the bucket open, a cutting edge made of hardened steel is installed, as well as on the front and back of the moving part of the bucket.
To protect the hydraulic components, a pressure relief valve is fitted as standard.
